Transformation

So for those who have been following me and my social media you know I recently finished a 6 Week Fitness Challenge πŸ™„. I’m not sure who told me it was cool or okay to do this to myself but I made it lol. Any who, my family and I did this 6 Week Fitness Challenge that included us changing our eating from whenever we found time to eat, to eating 6 meals a day (bruhhh), engaging in HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts AT LEAST 5 days a week, and drinking what seemed like the Ocean erryday (I currently have to go to the bathroom now πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ).

This will only make sense if I give you a brief background of myself, so I have been moderately athletic most of my life, running track, cheering, and just engaging in workouts here and there. But NOTHING compares to what I endured over the last 6 weeks. I usually don’t take long to get adjusted or accustomed to a workout routine, so I surely didn’t think anything different when considering this program πŸ™„, who was I kidding. Okay slight rant, I didn’t really have much weight to lose to begin with so this was a little difficult for me to get accustomed to, but anyway rant over. The Challenge consisted of losing 20lbs within 6 weeks, again where was I losing 20lbs πŸ˜‚Β but whatever. I did it really just to feel good about myself again, I mean I was starting to become lazy and would just look at pictures and wish that I would wake-up looking like the pictures I liked or seen on social media. That’s a negative, let me tell you something you may or may not already know; unless you put in the work to look like how you want, you will continue wishing and liking pictures. Change does NOT happen overnight so don’t think you’re about to be what you’ve always imagined without putting in some WORK, OOKKKKURR.

So here are some shared thoughts between me, my Mom, my Aunt, and Cousins:

Week1……….WTHβ“πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸš’πŸ‘©πŸ½β€βš•οΈπŸ˜
Week2&3…..Is This Legal????πŸ›πŸ™…πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
Week4-…….I Can Do ThisπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ
Week5-……It’s A RoutineπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ🏽
Week6- ……I MADE ITΒ πŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ€ΈπŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

I’m about to be all the way transparent, for those who know me personally I’m always transparent. I said WTF 🀬 AT LEAST once a day during those 6 weeks. I cannot lie, I really wanted to quit. Again, who puts themselves through so much just to achieve a desired result. I will tell, people who are crazy; they’re called people of Faith. I believed in myself and my family, I believed that if we sacrificed and changed the way we did things we could accomplish a desired look we’ve been talking about for a while. The only thing is, I was tired of talking and wanted results.

So we attended orientation and got our instructions, we went shopping and prepared ourselves for the next 6 weeks. (PREPARATION IS KEY) A lot had to be changed, our eating, how many hours we slept, how often we ate, how much water we drank (the ocean) and even how often we moved our body. Here is a look at what our schedule looked like for those 6 weeks:

Wake-Up~ 3am

Drink/Eat Protein~ 3:30am

Workout~ 4:30-5:30am

Eat Breakfast~ 6:30am

Drink/Eat Protein~ 9:30am

Eat Lunch~ 12:30pm

Drink/Eat Protein~ 3:30pm

Eat Dinner~ 6:30pm

Bed Time~ 9:30pm

Tired yet, I am lol. Not to drag this out any longer, attached below are pics of me and my families results. The very first pic, is how I ultimately wanna look but for now these are our results.

In closing I’ll say this, health and fitness have always been something I’ve been conscious of because of family illnesses and diseases. But truly when you think about it, we only get one life to live and one body. Take care of it, as it is a loner from God. Be mindful of what you put into your body. One thing I learned from all of this is that everything doesn’t work for everybody the same way, the results you get won’t be the same for me and vice versa. Be happy with the Non-Scale victories, they outweigh the scaled ones. Most importantly enjoy the journey and allow Jesus to be at the center of it πŸ€—πŸ˜˜. I love you all πŸ’ͺ🏾
