We’ve all been in the position of having to wait on something; cooking food, baking cakes, finishing school, marriage or even having a child. Some of us are in these positions now, and the picture above shows just how you look while waiting on whatever it is God has for you. The part that most of us dislike the most is the uncomfortableness you feel while waiting for that very thing (Whatever it may be). I’m sure there is something that may not have been mentioned above, that you’re waiting on and it’s making you go insane.
You’re not really going insane lol, you’re just being groomed, shaped and molded into the person you need to be, for what’s to come. Many times we move forward, or at least try to move forward in the thing in which we can’t patiently wait on and it causes trouble. You either end up with uncooked food, under baked cakes, no degree, a premature marriage, etc. The older you get the more you learn about patiently waiting and how there is no negative effect in waiting for what you want as you mature to receive it.
I’m sure you’re wondering what are the benefits in waiting, especially on something that God has placed within you or even in front of you. You continue on with life, just because you are waiting doesn’t mean you stop preparing for that thing. When you’re pregnant and waiting for your bundle of joy, do you just sit around and wait? Ummmm no, you begin to prepare the nursery for the baby’s arrival. That’s the same thing you do with the destiny that God has for you. You prepare your heart, mind and body to fulfill your purpose.
Know that you have watchers and on-lookers to see how you handle waiting for your gift. The character that is built within you is only to help you handle what’s to come. If we don’t adequately prepare for our gifting or purpose we not only hurt ourselves but we damage it for everyone connected to us for that very thing.
This picture above is only a reminder, it’s not saying you have to wait as long as they did. However, it is saying that if you do have to wait the same amount of time you’re not alone. God was with them, so believe that He will be with you too! Of course I’m going to leave a few scriptures for you to meditate on while you wait for whatever it is that God has in store for you.
