What constitutes you as being busy? Well let’s define the word busy. According to the dictionary busy is defined as crowed with or characterized by much activity; actively or fully engaged or occupied; unavailable for use by anyone else or indicating unavailability.

That seemed to be a mouthful of a definition, the problem is which one are you? There is a difference between being busy doing the Lord’s work and being busy doing everything but what He has for you. I can admit that at one point in my life I made every excuse as to why I couldn’t read my bible, or why I couldn’t attend a church event, then I got a revelation; God still loves me enough to bless me with the things that I needed.

How can He still bless me, when I put Him off to the side and do everything else but spend time with Him. Easy because God loves me! He loved me so much that He is willing to correct me and show me what is right. For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ NKJV).

God wants you to have life and be busy about His work, Satan on the other hand wants you so far out of God’s will that he will give you everything you want and then drop you like a bad habit..don’t get caught up in being so “busy” that you miss what God has for you and your future in Him.

5 Things to keep you from being B.U.S.Y

1) spend 30min or more a day with God

2) attend a bible believing, bible teaching church

3) begin to listen to things that feed your spirit man and not your flesh

4) pray (commune) with God

5) check out who you’re hanging with
